More Snow in Whistler Forecast to Christmas 2008
Alpine recreation forecast for the South Coast Mountains issued by Environment Canada at 2 PM PST Sunday 21 December 2008.
Synopsis... A low pressure system will continue to give snow to the
region tonight. Snow will end overnight as the low moves
southeast of the region. Skies will at least partially clear
Monday afternoon as a weak upper ridge begins to build in.
Whistler - Blackcomb.
Tonight..Snow ending this evening then cloudy with 60 percent
chance of flurries.
Alpine low minus 13.
Snowfall accumulation 2 to 4 cm.
Freezing level at valley bottom.
Mountain top winds southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light
and variable overnight.
Monday..Cloudy. Clearing in the afternoon.
Alpine high minus 10.
Freezing level at valley bottom.
Mountain top winds northeast 20 km/h.

Tuesday.. A mix of sun and cloud. 70 percent chance of flurries.

Wednesday.. Periods of light snow.

Thursday.. A mix of sun and cloud. 40 percent chance of flurries.
